Saddleback Oktoberfest 5K Alpine Run

Back for the 6th year on Saturday, October 3, 2026, Saddleback’s Alpine Run is one of the most scenic 5Ks in Maine, with sweeping views of the stunning Rangeley Lakes Region during peak fall foliage season.
Our scenic alpine route is challenging but achievable, gaining roughly 1200 feet of elevation before returning to finish at the Saddleback Base Lodge. The course follows the Saddleback work road, so expect gravel surfaces.
All racers will receive a commemorative logo item, and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers.
Registration
Registration is $35 and includes admission into Saddleback’s Oktoberfest following the race, as well as a scenic lift ticket to relax and take in the views following your run.
Please Note
Race will take place rain or shine, and registrations are non-refundable. Sorry, dogs are not allowed to run with you. Race is chip timed.
