Saddleback Mountain was purchased by Boston-based Arctaris Impact Fund in January 2020, as an investment in the recovery of the region’s largest employer. As a result, Saddleback’s mission goes beyond getting the resort back on its feet and includes helping solve many of the challenges faced by rural communities. In addition to re-establishing Saddleback as one of the most iconic ski areas in the country, we are also working to increase affordable housing, access to childcare, providing seasonal workers with year-round benefits, and increasing access to health and wellness care for families across the region. Making all these initiatives viable requires Saddleback to perform at a high level and serve as the economic engine for the region. We are looking for candidates who want to be a part of helping us build that.

Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for keeping Saddleback’s fleet of vehicles and powered equipment safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. Responsibilities include routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting of equipment such as snowcats, snowmobiles, passenger and commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles, heavy equipment, and generators. Vehicle Maintenance employees work with a focus on safety, efficiency, and providing dependable support to mountain operations.
General Laborer helps keep Saddleback’s grounds, buildings, and guest areas safe, clean, and ready for daily operations. Responsibilities include clearing snow and walkways, maintaining grounds, delivering firewood, cleaning and organizing snowmaking hoses, assisting with event setup and clean up, and helping direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic. General Laborers work across the resort throughout the year, supporting mountain operations and helping keep Saddleback running smoothly for guests and staff.
