Daily Report

Afternoon Update 1:00 PM
It’s a winter wonderland up here in the Western Mountains. Mother Nature’s powder on top of our already incredible trail system has made the skiing and riding absolutely dreamy. We’ve had another 4 inches since 6am, over a foot total and it is still coming down! Make plans to get up here ASAP, you’ll regret it if you miss this!
Morning Update 9:13 AM
The Rangeley quad is starting the day on a wind hold, but stay tuned here and on the Saddleback Interactive Trail Map for updates. South Branch and Kennebago quads are open. The Sandy and the T Bar are running to provide full mountain access.
Monday January 26, 2026. 6:40 AM
Like conditions weren’t good enough, right? The clouds over Saddleback opened up in a big way last night and are literally DUMPING snow on all 68 trails. Right now. As we speak. I guess technically we’re not speaking, we’re typing, but you get the point.
Additionally, we have a shot at DOUBLE DIGIT temps today (okay, only low double digits but work with us here, would you please??), single digit winds at the base, a TON of new powder on the ground, and… it’s still snowing. Mother Nature has truly blessed us today and you need to be here to see it for yourself! Yes, specifically YOU. Because it is not an exaggeration to say that conditions do not get any better than this!! We will start the day with the Sandy, South Branch, Kennebago, and Cupsuptic T (with the Rangeley hopefully not far behind) running at 9am to take you anywhere on the trail map your little heart desires. Actually, even if you have a big heart, the lifts are still going to take you up to any trail you want. And we do mean ANY trail, cuz they’re all open.
If you’ve been up here recently, can you even wrap your brain around the thought of all that new powder on top of what was already amazing skiing and riding? On 100% of everything Saddleback has to offer? Is your imagination good enough to actually see in your head what your favorite trail must look like right now? If it isn’t, or even if it is, get up here and picture it in person. And remember our motto up here: when it comes to snow, too much is never enough.
Retail, rental, and tune shops open at 8am. Food and beverage choices start at 8am in the Market Café. The Pub opens it’s doors at 11am and doesn’t close until 6pm.
