Daily Report
Friday, April 3, 2026. 2:50PM
Blustery morning, mellow afternoon! The sun started to poke through the clouds in spots around midday and the breeze simmered down. Huge shout out to the T-Bar warriors putting in the hours this morning before the Quads opened up.
As for the snow; velvety! Soft under the skis and quick without being slick in the morning. Soft in the afternoon as well but less zip overall. Kenne laps were unsurprisingly enjoyable; Tri-Color to Weaver on repeat.
Spring Bash Saturday will be in full effect tomorrow morning at 9:30AM. Spring temperatures, DJ bumping outside tunes, pond skim, live music in The Pub, and top it all off with the Rewind and Grind Goon Jam in the early evening.
Sunday will ring in your chance to find the illusive Golden Egg and walk away with a free Saddleback Season Pass for the upcoming season.
It’s Spring Bash at Saddleback, come rip it up!

The Rangeley and South Branch Quads are joining in on the action and are now loading.

Friday, April 3, and we get to go skiing! Spring Bash Weekend is here and we’re starting it off with rising temperatures, trailing precipitation, and solid cloud coverage. A portion of the terrain we were skiing yesterday will be needing some time to warm up before getting the nod by patrol for today, starting us with upwards of 30 trails featuring loose granular surfaces and variable spring conditions. The Rangeley, Kennebago, and South Branch Quads are scheduled get the day in motion at 10AM. We are seeing strong gusts up here this morning, but it’s still early, stay tuned to the Mountain Report for the most up to date information on lift status and terrain expansion.
The Saddleback Terrain Parks Crew was up late last night, building out the new Lodge Park set up for Saturday’s Goon Jam. This will be Goon Jam’s third time bringing the ruckus to Saddleback and has quickly become a springtime season fan favorite event. Registration is open to skiers and riders from 2PM to 4PM before the event kicks off at 4PM. Prizes for the top skiers and riders will be doled out at 6PM.
The snow has been pushed, and the liner has been patched! The Pond Skim is now taking place on Saturday, April 4, at 1PM. Grab your trunks and your fattest twigs, it’s skimming time.
Easter Sunday will round out our Spring Bash weekend in a big way with Sunday Service, Easter Egg Hunt, and The Golden Egg Hunt. Sunday Service starts at 10AM at the top of The Rangeley and will be a brief, non-denominational service led by Peter Panagore.
Make sure you’ve got your baskets and bags ready to go at 11AM Sunday morning, because on Gee Whiz and Smelt Streamer: it’s Easter Egg hunting time. The trails will be packed from side to side with colorful eggs, filled with delectable sweets. Word on the street is that the Easter Bunny may be making an appearance…
Feel like skiing the entire season at Saddleback for free next year? Sunday is your chance to scour the mountain for the coveted, Golden Egg. The moment the lifts start spinning, the hunt is on. One egg, one winner, one free 2026/2027 Season Pass.
Ski in control, respect posted signage, and come rip it up.
