The Gambler-Uphill Challenge to Benefit Patrol

Join us for The Gambler – an uphill fundraising event to benefit Saddleback Ski Patrol, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Registration is $50, and includes an uphill ticket. Event registrants can also purchase a full day lift ticket for just $69.

The event will start at 9am, when you’ll depart from the Base Lodge and head up the Wheeler Slope to the uphill trail. Along the route you’ll be dealt a playing card at five different stations, accumulating a full poker hand by the time you reach the top. You can stop there and stick with the cards you have, or head down and do additional laps, earning one extra card per lap. The more laps you do, the better your chances for a winning poker hand.

The last card will be dealt at 3pm, after which we’ll head to the Pub and count up our cards. The best hand (or hands) will win swag and prizes.
