Junior Instructor Program
Our Junior Instructor Program gives teens real-world experience on snow and in the workplace. Through hands-on training, lesson shadowing, and leadership practice, students learn what it takes to teach, communicate, and succeed as part of a professional team. It’s the perfect way to turn a passion for skiing into confidence, responsibility, and future opportunity.
This season we are offering a new and improved Junior Instructor program that will take place over the course of 5 Saturdays. This course will prepare students ages 13-16 to be instructors at Saddleback Ski and Ride School and beyond. It is designed to provide more focused training in technical, safety, and group management topics based around the industry standards for a level 1 PSIA/AASI certification.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
Lessons canceled at least 72 hours prior to the date of your reservation will be refunded in full. If you cancel within 72 hours prior to the date of your reservation, you will receive a credit equivalent to the amount that you paid. The credit will be issued in your online account, and will be valid until 5/1/27. You can use this credit toward a future lesson reservation, or any other product sold in our online store. If you cancel your lesson on the day of your lesson, you will be charged in full and will not receive a refund or credit. To cancel please email: skischoolinfo@saddlebackmaine.com.
