    In the six decades since the first T-Bar started spinning, a lot has changed at Saddleback. And while every ski mountain has its own history, we think it’s pretty safe to say that few have experienced quite so many twists and turns as ours.

    Saddleback did not just reopen today. It came back Saddleback did not just reopen today. It came back to life. The energy across the mountain was unreal and it felt good to be home again. Let’s run it back tomorrow, say 30 min earlier than today?

Between snowmaking and the natural snowfall, the surface is skiing spectacular, and word on the street is that we’ll be opening a few natural trails tomorrow… are you ready for opening day?

Once Mother Nature called it quits for the day, we were already busy making our own clouds, and the gun show is looking spectacular under blue skies, if we do say so ourselves.

All this fresh snow will mix in beautifully with what we’re making, so Friday is already shaping up to be an amazing opener!

After around the clock shifts and a tireless effort from our snowmaking, mountain ops, and patrol teams, we’re kicking off our 65th winter this week! We can’t wait to see you all there. If you don’t already have your pass, ticket pack, or lift tickets sorted out, today is the final day for our Season’s Greeting sale!
