Ski & Ride Lessons and Guided Tours

Roger Page Ski & Ride School

Saddleback Mountain will always be a family oriented resort in the western mountains of Maine that believes life is better outside. The Roger Page Ski and Ride School, a PSIA/AASI Member School, is headed by a team who is committed to sharing the fun and joy of skiing and riding at Saddleback with our guests. The signature trails that dip and dive to the skiers’ delight, the extensive learning terrain, and countless hand cut glades are the prized features of our mountain. Our philosophy is that learning only comes when you are having fun and we here at Saddleback strive to make sure FUN is the first part of any lesson or clinic. The Roger Page Ski and Ride School is honoring the heritage of Saddleback and bringing with it the love of learning and having fun in the Maine outdoors.

COVID Safety - Private Lessons

Our goal in the Ski School and Outdoor Programs is to run safely and do it well. During this time of uncertainty, we see it in the Saddleback family’s best interest to limit our staff and guest exposure to potentially harmful environments and provide the safest outdoor programing available in our industry. We get one shot at providing a great product and we think by starting with a manageable program offering we can do just that. Starting slow to guarantee quality and safety with the intention to build gives us the flexibility to adjust to what this season will hold.  Children under 6 will need to take a lesson with an adult who will be responsible for the lift riding as well as any other needs the child may have. We are asking those that arrive together, ski together to keep our season going here at Saddleback. There will be group privates available for those who want to take a lesson as a POD.

Family Private Lesson

Gives families the opportunity to ski together and learn together. Don't let a lesson be the reason you don’t enjoy family time on the slopes. Take a family lesson together that will cover all abilities in your group. Our trained coaches will customize your lesson on the hill to suit all members of your family. We promise, you will have a blast!

Maine Adaptive Programs

Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation (MASR) promotes year-round education and training for individuals with disabilities in order to develop skills, enhance independence, and provide enjoyment through active recreation. MASR does this in a number of ways, while embracing a series of core values such as a belief that taking part in outdoor recreation fosters a sense of pride, confidence, and self-esteem that carries into participant’s everyday lives, that encouraging reasonable risk taking empowers participants to challenge themselves, exceed expectations, and overcome perceived limitations and boundaries, that program delivery in a supportive atmosphere creates a caring community and a fun experience for all and that MASR supports participants in meeting their sport & recreational goals regardless of ability to pay. MASR offers programming with an effort to reduce (or eliminate) the barrier to participation including cost and access. To learn more, please visit or email

We believe in embracing it all. Different abilities. Countless sports. Four seasons. Endless possibilities.
