Horizons Ski Program at Saddleback

1:1 Inclusive Instruction in Partnership with the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center (AOEC)

Horizons is an inclusive ski program for individuals with autism and other varying developmental abilities run by the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center (AOEC). The program is a collaboration between the AOEC and Saddleback Ski School. Skiers in the program are in an existing lesson at Saddleback with their peers, and provided a 1:1 Horizons Ski Buddy to support them throughout the lesson.

Program Details

• Regular programming takes place from January – March based on availability.
• ​Lessons are inclusive with Saddleback Ski School.
• Skiers are paired up with a Horizons Ski Buddy to provide support as needed in the lesson.
• Registration fee is $35 and includes two half-day lessons.
• Additional lessons are $25 / each. ​
• 6-Lesson package available for $135.
