    Saddleback Mountain History

In the six decades since the first T-Bar started spinning, a lot has changed at Saddleback. And while every ski mountain has its own history, we think it’s pretty safe to say that few have experienced quite so many twists and turns as ours.

Huge shoutout to the grooming team because groomed Huge shoutout to the grooming team because groomed terrain is firing right now. Fresh corduroy every morning has been skiing phenomenal, and temps have been sitting in that sweet spot that keeps things soft and consistent, firm but not icy. When everything lines up and conditions are this good, even an inch or two of fresh snow goes a long way.

Wednesday, February 18, Taqueria Night is BACK at 3,620 feet. Ride up after hours, settle in at The Nest, and dig into a taqueria inspired menu with reservations-only seating at 5, 6, 7, or 8 pm. With daylight going longer every day, the sunsets up top are sure to be gorgeous!

Seats are limited and this one will move fast, so grab yours ahead of time and lock in your time slot now.
These S curves make a much bigger impact than the These S curves make a much bigger impact than the little tracks they leave behind. Today is Tuesday, which is a pretty big deal here at Saddleback.

Ski Tuesday is skiing in one of its purest forms. Local students working to make real progress in real time, lots of smiles, and that steady build of confidence that shows up lap by lap. It’s fun to watch, but it’s also exciting because it couldn’t happen without the community. Support from Saddlebackers helps keep it consistent, welcoming, and accessible for kids and families each season.

If you love what Ski Tuesday is doing, consider contributing to help it keep rolling and reach more new skiers. Learn more and support the program in our bio.

There’s a group of people already hard at work on the mountain. Watching. Preparing. Caring. Ski Patrol is here on the best days and the hardest ones. In the wind. In the cold. When things go right and when they don’t. They do it because they believe in this place and the people who ski it. Many of them do it as volunteers. Quietly. Consistently. Using their own gear. The Gambler is our chance to show up for them.

Six reasons to get register right now at the LIB:
•Support Ski Patrol, a crew made largely of volunteers.
•The uphill route is beautiful right now.
•Low stakes, good vibes, meet new friends!
•Prizes are on the line.
•Earn your turns for something bigger than you.
•Get a great workout in before your Super Bowl party.
