Here’s the news we’ve all been waiting for…Saddleback will open for the 21/22 winter season on Saturday, December 4 at 10 AM! We plan to offer “top-to-bottom” skiing and riding on Royal Tiger, serviced by the South Branch Quad. Lift tickets will be $39 for all ages and can be purchased at the ticket window.

Snowmaking and terrain expansion will continue over the next several days as temperatures allow. The focus will be to get Grey Ghost and the Rangeley Quad open, as well as a push to get a solid snow base on Green Weaver down to the Kennebago Quad. Lessons are available to book online through the Roger Page Ski & Ride School and will begin on December 11. The retail store is stocked with new holiday gifts and apparel and Saddleback is excited to roll out a new menu at the Market Café on the second floor of the base lodge.

Saddleback dedicates the ceremonial “First Chair” of the 2021-2022 season, to the Lady Lakers, Rangeley high school’s women’s soccer team. The “Lady Lakers” made our entire community proud with their hard work, dedication, drive and equally important – class in making it to the Southern Conference Championship game. In a tough match, these local women showed all of us what it means to take a loss with dignity and respect for their opponent.  They’ve showed all of us that’s its not always about being first!
