Saddleback Maine's PEAK Program Exceeds Expectations

RANGELEY, Maine - Over 500 PEAK Passes have already been purchased for Maine's honor roll students. Saddleback's new PEAK (Promoting Education and Activity for Kids) Program rewards Maine's honor roll students in K-12 with a $49.00 Season Pass. The program, supported by Governor Baldacci, is designed to encourage Maine students to perform well in school, to help curb childhood obesity, and to promote getting outside and enjoy winter sports.

"We are very pleased with the success of the PEAK Program," said Conrad Klefos, director of marketing at Saddleback. "We think it's great that so many students in Maine are excited about the PEAK pass and we hope it encouraged them to do well in school."

"I signed my kids up for season passes under the PEAK program, and my wife and I will now get season passes, too. We're big fans," said Walter McKee of Hallowell.

Any Maine child up through grade 12 that makes the honor roll at the end of the first marking period is eligible to receive a Saddleback season pass for just $49. Ideal proof is a list from the school that lists all honor roll students. Other acceptable proof is the report card or a letter from the school principal or superintendent. Any criteria set by the school that defines an honor student is acceptable to Saddleback.

Launched at a press conference in September with celebrity-spokesman, Bob Crowley of Survivor: Gabon, the PEAK program has received statewide and national press coverage.
