Saddleback Brings Bluegrass Festival to Rangeley 

~Event Slated for August 7, 2010~

RANGELEY, Maine - Saddleback Maine is holding its first Saddleback Mountain Bluegrass Festival on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010 featuring two of the top names in bluegrass music; the David Grisman Bluegrass Experience and the Del McCoury Band, along with Darol AngerScott Law, & Sharon Gilchrist and the Infamous Stringdusters. Held the same weekend as Rangeley's Sidewalk Art Show and Street Dance, festival activities include live music, beer gardens and Saddleback Country Style Barbecue.

"We have a great line-up of bluegrass artists and the festival will be a wonderful addition to August events in the Rangeley Lakes region," says Warren Cook, CEO and general manager of Saddleback. "It is sure to be a terrific event so mark your calendars now."


Saddleback Maine's Bluegrass Festival

Lodging and camping will be available on and off mountain. Festival will take place, rain or shine. Attendees may not bring coolers, pets or sun umbrellas. A variety of food and beverages will be available on site.

 

Running from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, the festival will also have Maine bands including the  Jerks of Grass and the Stowaways. VIP seating tickets are $65; all other tickets are $35, and children 12 and under are free. For more information, please visit www.saddlebackmaine.com or call 207-864-5671.
