He is responsible for snowmaking, lifts, grooming, trails, ski patrol, and equipment maintenance. Jim was born and raised in Rangeley. He has skied most his whole life at Saddleback; Jim calls Saddleback his baby sitter because his parents would let him ski the mountain alone from a young age. In the Air Force, he was certified in all three disciplines of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (Nordic, snowboard, and alpine). He is also certified as a Senior Ski Patroller. His first love is his family and his Quimby roots that run deep into the Rangeley Region.
