Eleventh Annual Saddleback Fall Festival
September 20, 2015
On September 20, 2015 the Tenth Annual Saddleback Fall Festival will be held from 10am-3pm. It's the last day to buy Saddleback Season Passes at the pre-season price: prices will increase on September 21st.
Come up early: the Coffee Bar will be open with delicious baked goods. At 9 AM, Rangeley Health and Wellness partners with Saddleback to host a Trail Run: a 4 mile challenge with over 4000' of vertical change. Starting at 10:00, Fine Artists and Crafters will be displaying their unique wares including paintings, woodworking and furniture, jewelry of all types, hand sewn items, scarves, foods, soaps, quilts, photography, baskets and more. The Rangeley Ski Scholarship Fund will be hosting their second annual Ski Swap. There will be live music with Rhys Taylor, a delicious BBQ on the deck, and fly tying demonstrations by Sam Kenney.
For the kids there's a pie eating contest, a pumpkin patch where they can pick out a free pumpkin, a hay-bale fort filled with toys and candy, face painting, and other fun activities. The kids will be busy all day!
Non-Profits presenting info and activities include the Little Mountain School, Healthy Community Coalition, Rangeley Lakes Logging Museum, Rangeley PTA, The Ski Museum of Maine, the Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad and WRGY will be doing interviews. From Saddleback, there will be the Saddleback Ski Club, Saddleback Connections, the Ski & Ride School, the Ski Shop, Saddleback Realty, and Wedding and Event information.
