Saddleback’s Third Annual Bluegrass Festival is one event not to miss. In 2010 and 2011, almost 4000 people came to listen, dance, camp and enjoy a wonderful time.

This year we have taken the whole show to the main stage, beginning Friday, August 10, at 2:30 p.m. Friday will feature Michael Daves, Chasing Blue, Local Circus, the Red Stick Ramblers and more.

Saturday, starting at 11:30am spend the day enjoying the sights and sounds of some of the best National Bluegrass performers, including The Hillbenders, MilkDrive, Della Mae, The Gibson Brothers, The Bluegrass Ball featuring The Travelin' McCourys and Michael Daves and the Sam Bush Band.

The concert will take place on the slopes of Saddleback Mountain. Food vendors, the Food Court, Saddleback Express, Saddleback Barbeque and a beer garden will be available. Camping is available on a first come first serve basis beginning at 9am on Friday.

2:30 PM- 3:15 PM	Tricky Britches This high-energy string band from Portland fuses classic bluegrass, country and folk rock.	11:30 AM- NOON	317 Main Street This ensemble is comprised of Maine student musicians who were selected to participate through a juried audition
3:30 PM- 4:15 PM	Chasing Blue A mix of original and traditional bluegrass material with unique arrangements and hard-driving style.	12:15 PM- 1:15 PM	The Hillbenders A must-see act -- energetic stage performances, unique style, and original compositions combine influences from country, rock, blues, jazz and Americana.
4:30 PM- 5:30 PM	Local Circus Musical energy and sense of entertainment dynamics help this Portland band forge a unique sound and stage show with danceable rhythms and strong melodies.	1:30 PM- 2:30 PM	MilkDrive A progressive alt.-folk string band from Texas that plays a multi-layer mix of rhythms, tempos, flavors, harmonies, and improvisations.
5:45 PM - 6:30 PM	Michael Daves His music pairs Southern spirit with urban grit -- small town music with New York City intensity	2:45 PM- 3:45 PM	Della Mae A 5-person, all-girl super band includes a two-time National Fiddle Champion. The band plays traditional bluegrass music that tells a story while delivering a punch.
6:45 PM - 8:00 PM	Red Stick Ramblers A unique hybrid of Louisiana Cajun, country, string band and swing influences -- hard driving, witty, eclectic and honest.	4:15 PM - 5:15 PM	The Gibson Brothers The most impeccably fine-sounding traditional bluegrass band on the contemporary scene - the tightest harmony blend and unmatched instrumental alacrity and taste.
