Today we hosted two USA Snowboard Association Maine Mountain series races on the Grey Ghost. First was GS and in the afternoon they ran the Slalom. Tomorrow we will host their Slopestyle event in our terrain park. That slopestyle event will be great for spectators. The park will be closed Sunday while the event takes place. If you would like to compete in the Slopestyle event and are not a USASA member, a one day membership is $25 plus the registration for the competition is $40 and includes your lift ticket. You must register by 8:30 AM Sunday to be eligible.

As this holiday week wraps up, I want to remind you that our $69 ski & stay package for our ski in / ski out condos is available again during midweek periods (Sunday through Thursday) beginning Sunday night. We are also introducing `2 for 1 Wednesdays’ beginning this Wednesday. Every Wednesday from now until the end the season, you can have 2 tickets for just $49! Wednesdays have been our slowest day of the week all season long, so we thought that this promotion may change that fact.

I spoke to a few people today that have been skiing Casablanca. The word is that that glade is skiing very well. It seems that the snow and rime ice in the tree limbs is falling to the ground and refreshing the surfaces there. If you are here tomorrow you may want to go check that out. Remember, tomorrow is ski with management morning. Every Sunday we meet at the Rangeley Chair at 7:30 AM sharp and ski with you for an hour before the lifts open. I hope to see you there!
